The nostalgia for terrible photos of adolescence took over Twitter this past month with the six-year glow up challenge. People are comparing their selfies from 2012 to their selfies from 2018 and sharing them on Twitter to show just how much can change in six years.

Whether it was growing out their hair, getting their braces removed, or finally figuring out their angles, everyone's just glad they're past the awkward years of middle school and early high school.
